At Dirt Therapy Bike Rentals, we understand that plans can change. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are granted for mountain bike rentals.

1. Cancellations

  • Full Refund:
    Cancellations made 24 hours or more in advance of the scheduled rental time are eligible for a 100% refund.

  • Partial Refund:
    Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the rental start time may receive a 50% refund, depending on circumstances.

  • No Refund:
    No-shows or same-day cancellations are not eligible for a refund.

2. Weather-Related Refunds

  • Rentals may be canceled or rescheduled due to unsafe weather conditions (e.g., lightning, heavy rain, trail closures).

  • If we cancel due to weather, you’ll be offered the choice of a full refund or rescheduling.

  • Early returns due to weather are generally non-refundable, but exceptions may be made on a case-by-case basis.

3. Early Returns

  • If you return your bike early, no automatic refund is given for unused time.

  • However, we may offer store credit or a partial refund at our discretion if equipment is returned significantly early and in good condition.

4. Equipment Issues

  • If your bike has a mechanical issue that prevents use and we are unable to provide a replacement:

    • A full or partial refund may be issued based on the time lost and issue severity.

  • Please contact us immediately if you experience any issues during your rental.

5. Group or Special Event Bookings

  • Group bookings (4+ bikes) may require 48 hours’ notice for a full refund.

  • Custom events or guided rides may have their own cancellation terms stated at booking.
